Last night was Fight Night once again. This has become one of our favorite monthly gatherings. UFC has been around for a while, and a few years ago Hugh and his brothers decided to get their first pay-per-view fight. It started with just a few guys coming over to our house to watch the fight. And, I would take the opportunity to have a Girls Night Out on those nights. Well, years have passed, and now, I hate to admit it, but I'm a UFC Fan as well. I look forward to Fight Nights just as much as Hugh does. I think my favorite part of it is having a night that Hugh and his brothers get to spend together hanging out. It's usually Kolby & Kort, and they bring some of their friends, and we invite some of our friends, and we end up with a house full of people. It wouldn't be complete without homemade salsa and chips, brownies, pop, and lots of pizza. Last night, we had 28 people here, and that included some of the wives. Our kids were all here, and the girls like Fight Night because it's the one night where they get to eat in their room. They don't like UFC, so they retreat to their room to watch a movie and eat pizza and brownies. It's a loud, crazy night and our cul-de-sac turns into a parking lot. Can't wait for the next one.
