Wendy

For those of you who read my blog....and know (or even DON'T know Wendy), please keep her in your prayers. She is having some health issues right now. We don't know exactly what we are dealing with yet, but will hopefully know soon. You can go here to read the sweet post her husband, Loren, wrote on her blog for a few of the details. But dang it, get a kleenex. I'll post updates as I get them. My life would not be the same without my Wendy. It certainly wouldn't as fun. That girl makes me laugh harder than anyone else.

Day 24.....Oops

Forgot to take a picture on Friday. Oops. But I did edit this picture in Photoshop (it's for my totally cool new frame) and LOVED the way it turned out!! So, it's going to count for my POTD. This is my FAVORITE church in NYC...St. Paul's Cathedral, and it was taken on my most recent trip to NYC. Can't wait to go back.

Ok, the dude was a total wacko. I've known that for a very long time. HOWEVER....he made some of the most amazing music. The musician was completely different than the man. I can recall three dances I did to MJ songs, and of those, - my favorite - was the one I did my senior year of high school. It was to "BAD", and I still remember most of the dance. (Don't ask me to show you....it might be a little scary...or dare I say it..."BAD".) And tonight while driving to the hospital, they were playing MJ songs. I loved every one. Anyway, as my tribute, here is his "BAD" video. Enjoy.

The Happy Family - Day 23

They are all doing great. Mom has been trying to rest, but is not having much luck. Hopefully, she'll get some more rest when she gets home and doesn't have nurses coming in her room every 5 minutes! And because she didn't get much rest, neither did Dad. Oh well. The life of new parents. I can't wait for them to get home and recover. And let me tell you, the cheeks on little baby Emmi are just too much. I want to squeeze them and kiss them all day long! She has the longest fingers and toes I've ever seen on a baby!!! I'm so in love with her. Seriously, I was so emotional this morning! I actually started crying when I was talking to K earlier. I'm such a dork. What a sweet little family. I'm so happy she is finally here. A little late, but nothing like making a dramatic entrance!

Day 21

Just playing around with my camera at night. This was at 10:30 in my backyard. Totally dark with the exception of the waterfall lights. (I tried to turn the waterfall on, but the stinking on/off switch was locked cuz it's on a timer....darn it!) Anyway, I slowed the shutter speed waaayyyy down, and sat my camera on a table for the long exposure shot. I love the way it turned out. Now, I'll have to try this again with the waterfall ON!!

No Baby Yet

This is not Amy. She just feels like this.

K&A were supposed to go to the hospital this morning at 4am. That was pushed back to 8am.....then noon......Now, they were told 12:30am. But as of 8pm, the hospital was still booked. So, we are keeping our fingers crossed, and we are saying our prayers, that they won't be pushed back any more! And instead, they will go to the hospital...and deliver this baby!

In honor of K&A and their forthcoming jobs as Mom & Dad (which will HOPEFULLY be tomorrow since they are inducing her at 4 am), I am posting these Baby Tips. I hope they will help.

Father's Day & Day 20 picture

We spent the afternoon at Kammy's. Lots of love there. Happy Father's Day to all of the great men in my life!! Hugh, Ron, Kenny, Bob, Mo, Wayde, Kolby, and soon-to-be Dad Kort. I love you all!!
