I can't believe it has come and gone already. It seems like it takes months to prepare and a few days for it to pass. We had a great holiday. Our Christmas program at church was a special treat this year as we got to watch Caitlin perform in the Youth Choir. She felt like a big girl up there holding her music in the big black folder. On Christmas Eve, we were able to spend the evening at home, with just the five of us, and we watched "The Nativity Story" and drank hot chocolate. That movie seemed to bring us all back to what the season is all about. It was a great movie. Christmas morning was, of course, chaotic, and to the kids it seemed like FOREVER until Dad and I woke up. Santa surprised the kids with a Wii, and I think the person who is getting the most enjoyment out of that is Grandpa Ron! He and Grandma Lucy have said they will be over more often. That will be easy for Grandma Lucy since she retires on Dec. 31!! All in all, it was a great season, and we are looking forward to 2008. Happy New Year!
