Back to School Fashion!

We spent today doing back to school shopping - my favorite! Well, we scored at Justice where they had all of their summer stuff on sale. We're talking $25 shirts for $5. So, we bought a few. :) The girls tried on all of their stuff when we got home and we took some pictures. They also got new bathing suits (couldn't pass them up at $7 each) and they had me take their pictures out by the pool. My little models......they are so adorable.

An Amazing Man

I just saw a special on Primetime (thanks Wendy) on Randy Pausch and I'm going out tomorrow to get this book. He was an amazing man.

I Love Shoes!

This is one of my favorite pictures that we took at the wedding. Actually, Justin Yoder took this picture...so thanks Justin!

Ashley's Married!

Ashley Nicole Yoder - daughter of our great friends Bryon & JoAnna Yoder - was married on Wednesday in the San Diego Temple. Wendy & I went over there on Tuesday (it was so nice to escape the heat) so we could attend the festivities! It was a beautiful day - the weather was perfect, and Ashley & Nate looked so adorable! It was so nice to see them so happy, as well as the rest of the Yoder and Wilkinsin families. The wedding was followed by a luncheon at the Four Seasons in Carlsbad. Fancy Schmancy!

Caitlin Conquered Her Fear!!

For years, Caitlin would NOT go in the water - she was afraid of the seaweed. (she must have got that fear from her Uncle Scotty!!). Well, she overcame that this year. And she got her own boogie board and surf shirt. She said she could not believe she has been missing this fun for all of these years!

San Diego Zoo

Here are a few pictures from the Zoo.

San Diego

Each summer we have the fortunate opportunity to go to San Diego. My Aunt & Uncle lived there and they go to Alaska each year to fish, and we get to go stay at their house while they are gone. Rough, huh? It so great over there. The weather is perfect and there is so much to do. Kort & Amy also came over for a few days, and they brought Hugh's dad with them. We had a great time and we were so sad to come home to the hot weather. At least the gas prices are lower here. Can you imagine being grateful for $4.07 a gallon???

What the heck....here's some more!

More Pics from Reunion

I just can't help myself. Here are some more pictures.

WHS Class of 1988

Well, it was all I wanted it to be....and more. I truly had an amazing time. A bunch of us got together on Friday night at Fox Sports Grill & took care of a lot of the "awkwardness" than can come with seeing people you haven't seen in 20 years. About 40 people showed up. We hung out there for a while, and then headed across the street for some "old school Mexican food" at Carlos O'Briens. It was great. Then, on Saturday night, we had close to 100 people come to the actual "reunion". We laughed, danced, ate, reminisced, laughed some more, watch a slideshow, had a trivia contest which yielded Ladmos bags as prizes, and then laughed and danced some more. To me, who has been so excited for this event, it couldn't have been any better. Well, I take that back....what would have made it better is if it lasted longer. It was sad to say good bye, not knowing when we would see each other again. I cherished my friendships from high school. I had the greatest blessing of having an amazing group of both guy and girl friends who I am fortunate enough to still keep in touch with today. The memories of my high school days are engraved in my memory (almost to a fault) and I will always hold on to those. So, to my WHS friends who may read this.....Thank you for an amazing weekend. I love you all and I hope we can all get together again before we are 48!!! AAAAHHHHH!!
