My amazing web friend Amy from Stem Parties is also a part of Operation Shower. Operation Shower is a non-profit organization that recognizes and honors the sacrifices military families make by producing and coordinating baby showers and “Showers in A Box” for pregnant and expecting military personnel and their families. What a great way to give back!
Here is a video of a recent shower they threw as they partnered with the PGA and March of Dimes. The PGA donated $15,000 to Operation Shower!! Woo hoo!
On their blog, they have a list of items they need for their Shower in a Box. I thought it would be a great service project for some of our youth! A Young Women project? Eagle Scout? Hmmmmm.....

If I can ever give any ideas for any service projects, let me know. We've had women's groups do items as well as cash donations (our greatest need) before. Both mean the world to us. Such a simple gesture that means so much.
